Meet the Tutors
Lael is the owner of Wild Rose Wonders. She teaches all of the classes for the business and has enjoyed tutoring in a variety of subjects from Pre-Algebra to Crochet! Helping others see beauty and wonder in the world is her passion.
She has two years of experience teaching an IEW writing class. After graduating from homeschool with an Associate's Degree in Biblical Studies, she spent a year studying permaculture. Additionally, she has continued to volunteer in children's ministries, including Good News Club.
Her educational model includes studying excellent literature, probing discussions, clear expectations for assignments, and hands-on activities. Lael's goal is that students become able to work independently and not depend on a teacher's assistance.
She dreams of getting married, fostering and adopting children, and running a farmstead.
Allissa is a tutor with Wild Rose Wonders. She is graduating from homeschool this spring and is considering going to college to become a Public School teacher. Currently, she is saving up to go to North Star Bible School this fall!
For fun, she enjoys writing fantasy, drawing anime, doing karate, and playing piano. And, she spends lots of time enjoying her dogs, Nya and Maggie, and her cats Dexter, Totoro, and Kiki.
Additionally, Allissa has years of experience volunteering in children's ministries such as Good News Club.
Helping people, such as housekeeping, babysitting, or helping make decisions, brings joy to her life! Knowing that you’re happy makes her happy!
She would love to get married, travel around the world, and someday homeschool her own kids!
